DGCA has recently revised AAC NO 4 of 2006 in respect of issuance of export certificate of airworthiness for an aircraft.
An exporter of an aircraft required to obtain an export certificate of airworthiness from the regulatory authority of the country in which the aircraft is registered or in the case of a new aircraft, the Country of Manufacture. The export certificate of airworthiness is normally revalidated by the regulatory authority of the importing country.
In October 2022, DGCA has updated the application form and the format of ‘export certificate of airworthiness’.
