Nikhil Jalan has more than 17 years’ experience in legal field and has broad based experience covering asset finance and leasing. Nikhil has acted for financiers, lessors and airlines on a range of cross-border transactions including Ex-Im guaranteed financings, operating leases, finance leases, capital markets financings, syndicated and bilateral loans, portfolio purchases, sale and leasebacks, novations, restructurings, private jet acquisitions/financings, helicopter financings, and tax structured leasing transactions.
He has previously worked as a lawyer in the Stephenson Harwood, Singapore – Asset finance team (with secondment to Hong Kong Office) and has held head legal positions with leading corporate houses in India.
Nikhil has done his B.B.A, LL.B from Symbiosis Law School, Noida and LL.M from New York University School of Law and National University of Singapore.
